The world indeed is a small place to be a part of.
What makes me say this !! Well, starting with, How I met Amrita ??
The blog has been just a pet project totally keeping it to myself and not promoting it anywhere. Gives me the freedom to just write whatever I want to, without any expectation to deliver, without the question how many "likes" will I get on this post ? Totally a free mind at work, with the world, as the of audience.
And, here I get a mail from Rita from UK, requesting for a photo shoot, after seeing the work on my blog !! Amrita, lemme confess, I can't tell you how skeptical I was at first with your mail. At one point I thought it's a practical joke being played by my friends who just wanted to boost my morale, since this is my first year professionally as a wedding photojournalist. I replied to your mail with a very bland mind. And then I get Jeet's call; all ready to be the perfect host and invite me to Bikaner for a couple photo shoot !! And, i'm thinking is this actually happening ?? These guys like my work and are actually paying for my work. And lemme confess one more time, I have been assisting a lot of photographers, but you guys are the first couple I did a photo shoot, managing all by myself, and getting paid for it as well ;-) That's a great kick. And I think so, I did a decent job if not a super duper fantabulous one ;-) You guys have proved to be a lucky charm, have been really busy with work ;-)
And after a loooooooot of planning which involved a lot of waiting, location hunting, from the palaces of Bikaner to Delhi traffic, running around (3 complete rounds of Lodhi Garden !!), bribing and fighting with the guards and wardrobe selection (ha ha ha Amrita, I can't stop myself from laughing aloud).
From UK to India, Love just managed to clam the chaos. It's just being together that makes you forget the world and seize the world for a moment and be lost in your own world.
It's been great knowing you guys and have done this photo shoot for you.
God bless and stay loved forever.
