Happy to be happy

Today I just wanted to see some happy people, and not be in the hunt of some pretty bridal details only. Needless to say, as wedding photographers we love, love (loooooooooove) all the details, that as per the mummyz and daddyz is "beta yeh tumhaare jooton ki photo kyun kheech rahi hai!" And I just wanted to share some pictures, that I doubt will ever get featured on any of the umpteen wedding portals, but would make one very simple girl simply more happier, coz it's her family all smiles in the pictures.

A very simple pre-wedding function called Bhaat where the closest family members of the bride exchange gifts and sweets. Well a function like this is generally very formula led at Indian weddings; meet, greet, hand over the gifts and move on, and in functions like these is when we wedding photographers get challenged the most. How do we make the most out of it and click something that makes both me and the client happy?

A bright sunny day, lots of sweets and me as a wedding photographer in hunt of some shy smiles and happy faces. This pretty much sums up this day. Yes, yes, yes...the surprise visit by the groom along with his dholis and a color bomb finale to the day would be just some adrenaline rush moments from this day, else everybody was just happy to be happy and be together :-)
